Contact Your Legislator

"I feel betrayed by our legislators", said one parent when he realized the poor financial support schools receive from the State of Oregon. The economic recovery effort has been slow in Oregon and school districts are faced with yet another year of declining revenue. So again this year the Sweet Home School District is faced with significant reductions. At this time it looks like we will need to trim 1 to 1.5 million dollars. These cuts will run deep and in order to save some jobs and programs the district is considering a four-day school week.
